Today, Saturday the 28th of November I took my second ride at one of our local state parks, Percy Warner Park. This park features some beautiful scenery, hiking and biking trails, scenic view over looking Nashville and even some surprises! Here's a shot at one of the scenic over looks And here's the view, looking into the valley Warner Park is known all over the world as having a premier Steeplechase and each year in September they host this race in this beautiful location. After leaving the Steeplechase I was cruising along minding my own business when I saw this in the road! Really surprising to see snakes out this late, apparently he was trying to get warm laying in the road. Finally after around 12 miles of riding I ended up at the over look to the entrance to Percy Warner Park. By the time I get home, it will be time for another oil change, 282 miles and running stronger everyday! All in all it was a fantastic day to take a ride, and it was nice to have a surprise ending! I agree, I love riding there lots and lots of twists and turns, steep hills, all paved asphalt, I really do enjoy riding there. Thanks for the bone!
