so iw as at work tonight and asked a friend if he knew anyone with a scooter for sale and he said "i know a guy that has 6-8 older ones that don't run, they have been sitting in his junkyard for a while" and after talking to him for a few minutes about them, he gave me the guys number.....
i dont want to insult him by offering to little, so what would be a decent price for 6-8 (or possibly more) non running older scooters?
i was thinking of offering $20 a piece....

Let him talk first, then haggle him down.

Depends are we talking Vespa's and Lambretta's here or Honda Sprees?? Go look and see what you're dealing with, then let him set the tone on pricing as Bob said. Even if they are garbage if you get them cheap enough you can E-bay parts for the rest of the winter.
