I ordered a Fieldsheer Zero Condition jacket and it just arrived. I followed the recommendation on Fieldsheer's sizing chart and ordered a small. According to my chest measurement, that is what it said I should get. When I tried it on, the jacket was snug around my mid section (which is fine as it is supposed to be), the sleeves are fine (if a minuscule amount too long), but the neck is too small to zip up completely.
Do ya'll suppose that this is just a result of the jacket design and variation in human dimensions? I am afraid to get a medium for fear of it not fitting the rest of me. The jacket is not returnable because it was on closeout. BTW: I got a really good deal.

Sound kind of like my X-element except I can zip the neck up but it is tight. . Mine has all kinds of velcro and snaps and stuff for other adjusts. Where was it made? If it's like mine - Pakistan! Maybe our necks are biggr than theirs!

My jacket was sewn by a small-necked person in China.

I have a Fieldsheer jacket as well and love it. The sleeves are supposed to be a little long because of the reaching to the handles, and the back/tail should be long for the same reason. Mine fits a little snug on my neck, but not extremely so. I really like my Fieldsheer jacket. Got it from another member here and it is awsome!
