Today I finally had some free time and fairly decent weather to take my new scoot for a real ride. Temperature was 55 degrees when I started, it's now 57 degrees here in Music City, Nashville, TN. It's been raining here more than I can ever remember for this time of year, we are probably something like 10" over in rainfall year to date. Seems like every since I bought my scoot, about two and a half weeks ago it's either been raining or I had Honey DOS to do. This morning I logged over 20 miles just putting around the neighborhood, got it up to 40 once on the Chinometer but I'm not going to push it to hard until I get a few more miles on her. It's been over 20 years since I rode on anything but a bicycle and after a few miles I'm getting back in the groove. I remember many times just cruising around aimlessly with no particular place to go but just riding. To get back in the saddle again after all these years is hard to describe. I bet I was smiling ear to ear and just came back home for a drink and I'll probably be out again in a few minutes. Just had to share my joy with ya'll! Here's a picture of my new baby, she'll never be this young again! She may not be a real Italian, but at least she's 1% now. lol Gary

Yup that's what I like, no particular place to go, just get on the scoot and ride. Welcome back to 2 wheels!

Nothing wrong with just riding around with no place special to go. Enjoy! Nice scoot!

Hey Gary, I know how you feel, today was the first real day of riding for me, it's just been so wet around here lately. I live/ride in Clarksville, and work in Nashville myself. Today was NICE for riding up here, I jumped on the scoot and headed out with no particular plans, but as I went along I passed some stores I needed to visit, got my haircut, etc. It was nice. Put about 20 miles on as well.
See you around, Matt

Hey Matt,
Hiya neighbor, glad you had a good day as well, suprised you could find a barber working on Sunday. Ended the day with 29 miles on the odometer, a fantastic day for sure!
