I don't have any pictures to share this time, just a story. I was riding my scooter for relaxation tonight and I got stuck in traffic on St Armand's Circle, Lido Key, FL. It can hardly be called stuck, because it's one of the nicest places that you can find. There's a bunch of neat little upscale shops, a nice public beach, a county park, a nice neighborhood, an aquarium, a sailing basin, etc.
Anyway, to the reason why I'm writing this. I was first in line of some traffic, letting pedestrians cross as required by FL law, pedestrians cross by law here, the fines are big if you don't let them. Anyway, so the lady that was last in a long line of pedestrians said she's sorry, I smiled and I said it's no problem, it's a lovely day out, she smiled and her family turned to smile give their regards. Just as I said that I looked up at the sky and it was the most gorgeous shade of orange I've seen in a while, the sunset was perfect and the sun was setting right above my handlebars! If I were scooting around I might have missed that moment, luckily I was stopped letting people go in the crosswalk and I looked up to see the sky like that. It was fantastic. I don't have a picture this time because I forgot my camera at home - but I wanted to share that scooting moment with you guys. Have a great weekend, and I hope you get some good riding time in too!

Nice. Way to look past the annoyance and see the great moment! For me that is what scootin on a 50 is all about. Bone for the story.
