I noticed that big temperature drop on the news last night. It must be a refreshing change to everyone there though since it's going to go right back up. Consider it like a carnival ride, that you can take on your scooter.

The panhandle is suppose to be in the 20's mid week. Back to the long handles and heavy riding gear again.

I am counting the days down. Three more weeks till I get out of this nasty snow and cold in Chicago. Back to my warm home near Daytona. 20 degrees don't sound bad at all when I know 70 is only a day or so away. You know the old story of moving south with a snow shovel. The first time someone asks you what it is , you know you went far enough. I also thight of making my mailbox out of an old snowblower and seeing if any neighbors knew what it was.

When we first moved to Florida almost 18 years ago from New Hampshire I brought a snow shovel along (and I still have it) so just in case I should get a silly idea about moving back north I have a reminder. Needless to say, we are still in Florida-a different part tho. I hate the thought of these 20s and 30s at night but at least the days gets back up halfway decent. Art

We're heading for Florida on Thursday - Good Lord Willing and the weather is good. Hopefully it will be in the 70's by the time we arrive in New Smyrna Beach! It's supposed to be 10 the morning we leave and a high of 20 during the day! I sure hope the folks up home have their snow shovels all warmed up for this winter. After last winter, they will probably will all tuned for the weather. Have a great New year everyone! Scooterike

What's really bad is the weather channel is always wrong so I get dressed for a ride in 50 degree temps and walk outside and it's 75 degrees with 90% humidity. But ummm, I'm not complaining

Well the way I figure it the "hot air" is headed from Iowa to New Hampshire so all you folk up in new england should be getting toasty about now.

Now, you wouldn't be talkin 'bout our politicians, would you? (LOL)
Well, it's about 46 degrees and I just got back from a 22 mile ride. A little cold but it was great! Haven't ridden for a few weeks and really missed it. With the hot air mass alluded to, I should get more miles in over the next few days. Hope the political speeches keep going! You know, wonder if that has anything to do with "Global Warming" and not the fossil fuels? May be on to something. I swear, every time Al Gore gives a speech, seems like the temp. goes up another degree. (LOL)
