Hey Rich - all great. The "short ride" vid - see my "scoot ride" post. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's a little tilted and noisy. Ride on!

Yeah, I just watched it this morning, it came out good! ( Link to AP's vid) What did you have it mounted to? I used the Tony Hawk Helmet Cam, yet another cheap camera and all guess work. There is no playback screen on mine and you have to guess at the angle of the camera. -Rich

I was going to ask about your helmet cam but you beat me to it. I stuck this thing into the holder for my 2 way radio then used the belt clip to clip it to the neck of my jacket. Bad thing - with a ff helmet, you can't see what's happening and it takes a lot of editing to get rid of the shots from turning it on. It does have movie/camera functions and playback. With a 2 gig sd card, it holds about 1/2 hour movie. I made a holder the other day that's more secure and with one of those lanyard thingies, it actually fits on the windscreen. Need to try it out.
I showed mine and yours (including your comment about needing more vids) to my wife. She said "why do you guys want to take movies of your rides?" Because we can - why else?

Oh... I see... why not just use a suction mount like I do with my regular camera? LinkThey work fantastic on the windshield. -Rich

I think there's too much curve on my windshield. GPS suction doesn't hold.
