Is it possible to swap a 50cc 4-stroke gy6 for a 125 or 150cc?

I was casually reading at this website last week. totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=116I guess tons of people put the GY6 150cc engine in their otherwise 50cc Honda Ruckus. I'm amazed at how much work gets put into those projects. You're pretty much remaking everything on the bike except for the headlight. Too big of a project for my skills.

I want to put a 125 or 150 in a scoot that was made for gy6 50cc. Is this easier than the ruckus?

big thing with a swap from what i can tell is most 50cc the engine mount on the case is on the bottom and on the 125cc or 150cc the engine mount on the case is on the top and most 50cc's have a single rear shock and the 150 and 125 cc's are usually duels ... also most of the time the magneto/stator , and regulator/rectifiers are differant so theres some electrical work to be done

Just buy a 150 and put 50cc stickers on it lol Best solution in my opinion.

engine mount are not the same sure, you must be a good at welding some scooter exist in both 50 and 125+ it"s a good news because you can easily use the middle arm of the engine mount but still have to weld the fixation on the frame an easy way for poor welder is to take an old chinese frame cut the fixation and half of the tube (horizontal cutting) put it on the scoot in the right place, with the middle arm wel the half tube on the frame, or like a friend, bolt it on simplier is to buy the same scoot in 125 and change the frame number engraving tools for anti theft number are pretty good for just have to (lol) make the stars at the begining and the end of number and change the model plate after sanding the place, and use some acid on the sanded place , to be sure that the old number are well removed)
but i guess it's forbiddenl in usa like everywhere in the world ? like swapping the motor ?? (moderator can remove this part of the post, no problem if they think it's a bad suggestion)
