OK ... so it is time for company Christmas part . It is an affair where they basically hire a local club for the night. So I come up the driveway to the entrance where they have valet parking: "Where do you want it ?" "Leave the keys in it, we will park it." As a matter fo fact they put ti right up front. So what is the proper tip for parking a scooter ?

If they couldn't show me a MC endorsement, they wouldn't park mine!

Wow ... I'm surprised they parked it, but then again why not, valet is valet? Which scoot did you take, sophisticated Italian elegance (some may say .... snob ;D), sleek sporty utilitarian or ahem ..... economical get around (well .... cheap).

Didn't any of you see the Orange Cty Chopper show where Mikey and Vinnie were riding rented Vespas in Australia? In one segment they stayed in a hotel with valet parking, and when the valets were bringing their scooters back, the one riding Vinnies bright red scoot overcooked it coming around the corner, apparently braked, and high sided. The valet went sailing in his black suit and tie, head over heels, his dress shoes flying high in the air, feet still inside them. The Vespa was a bit banged up, with some cracked bodywork(not all metal anymore) and a busted signal light. Vinne gave him a tip, though: "Don't ride any more scooters."
The scooter was still rideable and they continued on their way.... not minding too much, since they were insured, rented scooters. No way, not with MY scooter!

Actually the one that took it said he had a MC ... he pointed out his two ride in the parking lot.
