Pretty cool. It reminds me a little bit of south Korea. Asian people are so humble and hard working folks, and are so multi-tallented. Food aint bad either.

Cool. There was or is on the internet someplace a great story blog going on about a lady riding a Chinese copy of a old BMW in China, she was getting around Ok despite the breakdowns. It was most interesting to read her stories.

It isn't a big problem. The trick is avoiding freeways unless you have a maxi-scooter. They have many cross country bicycle routes mapped out already. Many of those bicycle routes would be suitable for 50cc or so sized scooters that can't sustain freeway speeds. When you get out west to the desert states, they allow people to ride on the freeways (shoulders if you are slow) if there is no other alternate slow route available.

Hey guys I would be serouis about a big run , comes summer I have no problem taking time off work and riding for a long trip. If i gotta fly solo than thats fine butttttttttttt.... I don't think we would have any problem getting donations and making this a fund raiser for such things as cancer, kids that need help, etc ... People will pay money Per mile we treck ... I think its a great Idea ! I would love to do somethin like the petty familey dose in a smaller scale .. Helping out people and seeing the US at the same time ...
I think if I did a cross country I would ride a 250 ... But a 150 tricked out would be cool too. I get engines cheap and next day shipping there for the taking. Scootering cross country would bring tons of attention and dis-belivers ... you ready!
Donnie hit me up man I got my bike goin agin!! we gotta ride man ! you will see what that uni filter and cdi dose compared to stock.

I did the cross country ride on my Scarabeo 500 on April 05. The other three guys had brand new $24,000 Harleys and I had my scoot. By the end of the trip I had the admiration of all and even one of them was questioning his HD purchase! I took around 800 photos one way, there are a few posted under Julio B.: www.scootertrap.com/photos.htmTwo of us started in Miami Fl, the other two had to fly from Miami to Ohio because no HD dealer in Florida would sell those bikes to two Puertoricans with money on hand!!! We met in Tallahasee Fl. and started from there. I bought my Scarabeo from the Key West dealer and not only he took a personal check, he delivered it to Miami where I was! During the trip we found funny things while comparing the bikes like HD dealers wanting over $200 for an oil change while I did mine on the parking lot of Pep Boys for around $20. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I hold it very close to my heart.
