Ever have one of those days a ride around the 'hood turns into an all day wander? I headed out this morning on my Pathfinder 150 from Dayton, Ohio, heading east. Went through some nice, mature woods: Next I headed to Caesar Creek State Park through a covered bridge: This is what 150's aspire to: There's a collection of old log cabins at the park: Lots of corn fields in Ohio: And neat bridges to cross: And seldom-used gravel roads that lead to delicious blackberries and boys selling sweet corn: Hey, ya old gluebag, I've got seven more horsepower than you! One of the best things about a scooter is you can park it anywhere: Jeeze, another corn field: The Chinometer claimed an even 150 miles, while the GPS says it was 143. Not bad. This was the longest ride I've yet taken on the Pathfinder. No problems. The CVT case never got above 128 degrees (measured by my Harbor Freight infrared, non-contact thermometer), which is what I've measured it at for in-town riding also. Dunno if that's too hot or not; I do have over 2,000 miles on the scoot and the belt is still holding.

I just stumbled on this old post and thought I'd put it back on top so other newer members like me can have a chance to see this lovely scoot out in the countryside.

Really enjoyed the pics. Rode through northern OH on my trip to MI last summer, (2011). Didn't take many photos on the trip. Rode a lot of hwy and not a lot of safe places to stop and take photos. Did take photos of the Mod Quad at the hotels at night, but those aren't very scenic.

nice thread renewal, not just cause i have a gold pathfinder.
the pathfinder comes with brand name parts all over it, and a gates belt, mine has 10,000 miles on it which is pushing it bad i know, and must be changed.
very nice country side from a winter time of year, thanks for archiving it up .
