Found some today and put it in. Plan on keeping 1 oz to a gallon in there for the rest of the winter. Also, this year I plan on keeping the scoot ready to go if and when the temp gets over 40 on some days, I can ride and won't have that 3 month storage hard to start clean the carb problem.
leave the SUV sit outside the garage. she's bigger and can take it. My MISS KITTY needs special care after all. ;D
wouldn't do it this way if I was still working but now that I am unemployed for good, I just may want to get the hell out of the house in a moments notice if you know what I mean.

Can't go wrong with that one. I use it in my lawn toys and outboard motors and they do very well for long idle periods in high humidity conditions here in Florida. Hey don't for get the long handles if you are going to ride in the cold this winter.

Sea Foam is very good at cleaning fuel tanks/lines/pumps/carb jets.
I would not 'run' it on a continuous basis. It has a reputation for eating some older gaskets if used too long, or if mixed in a higher than suggested ratio.
Would suggest a product like Sta-Bil for long time use. It keeps your fuel 'fresh' for a prolonged amount of time.

T W I S T E R, What I said was "It has a reputation...", which could be an indicator only. The label lists one of the uses for Sea Foam as a fuel stabilizer.
The next time you in/near a parts store, compare the price of Sea Foam against Sta-Bil.
Sea Foam costs more than twice as much (three times at some places). This is because it does a number of things. As it must be much stronger than a stabilizer only, and be multipurpose, reasoning seems to me that it 'could' cause a problem to a system that only need a stabilizer.
I do run it in my Helix occasionally, just not all the time.

SEAFOM PROBABLY GOOD FIRST THING IN THE SPRING TO CLEAN UP THE SYSTEM.

Hello all. Sea Foam is great for getting the injectors of most cars cleaned out and working right. My 97 Ranger gets half a can every 20,000 miles. Have use SF in my old 91 Ranger for now over 200,000 miles at the same interval. Both trucks run in the 26-28 mpg range on long drives (sometimes with my race karts in them!!)... Enjoy, Bill

This question is sorta related, so I'll ask it here. I just used Sta-Bil for the first time ever, as we endured a cold snap here in Georgia and I was away for a couple weeks. During the initial run-in, my baby fired up and ran like a top every time. Today, it would start, but would immediately stop when I tried to give it any gas. Could this be Sta-Bil related?
I'm guessing I'll need to drain the fuel and re-set the carb idle; does that sound about right?

Most of my clients, of which there are many, use Sea Foam in almost all their equipment. Generators, compressors, trucks, cranes both gasoline and diesel and they swear by it's ability to keep things running. Much of their equipment gets intermittent use and sits up roofs tops for weeks at a time and in all kinds of weather conditions both hot and cold. That's why I started using it. I will check into the over use issue and gasket damage and let you know.

Tyrssen; I have had the same experience with scoots that sit for a period of time. In my case, they would run OK after several minutes of idling. Try an extended idle to let the engine thoroughly warm up. Should not be related to the use of Sta-Bil. You might add a good cleaner, like "Techron", to your next fill up.

A quick PS ... After enduring the ignomy of being trailered home, my baby fired right up and ran like a top. Again. Go figger! Oh well, I'm not complaining!
