Here's a bone for the pass.....Congratulations!
In Michigan the endorsement is "CY" rather than "M". ..... curious why the difference in symbols.

CY maybe is 'cycle'? For us M is Motorcycle.
Thanks All!
I'm relieved and excited!

I was the same way till they asked us to pick up the cones when were were done testing...basically when we picked them up it told us no on needed to use their "second chance". We also had to take the test in less then favorable conditions...rained all morning.

What bike did you take the exam on? Here in SE PA, we use Suzuki GS250's. The instructor did allow a woman to use her brand new Vespa, which she dropped and subsequently failed for. I found the little MC's to be quite easy to ride/learn on, but I still prefer my scooter.

Congratulations! A bone for you (well I will give you a bone when the ability comes back, I just gave someone else one too lol!
I think I missed a few points on mine.....that was only because I bungled up one of the u-turns in the small box and put a foot down - I think I got everything else.

I loved that box. I did that in 17 by 30. But I learned to press hard as well as use a lot of back brake and lots of throttle to get that small a turn.
And for the first two days I was on a Piaggio Fly 150. Decent but the most uncomfortable seat on the planet. The last day I used mine. I actually tested on mine so I knew it and I could do the swerve, the fast stop, the box and the outside, inside, outside curve.
I am still amazed at what I learned in my class.
Thanks for the bones!

I am still amazed at what I learned in my class. Thanks for the bones! Don't forget to look through the turn and ride it outside-inside-outside. Here in Florida, we have check a little more for sand on the turns, but I'm getting good at that in my peripheral vision. Keep your head up! (I had a Marine barking at me in my MSF class--I'll remember his phrases forever).

I took my MSF in Morehead Ky. in October 2008 It rained then it got cold and snow flurried a bit. I too will always remember the phrase "Keep your head up!!" Our instructors were both great, one of them teaches the Ky. State Police Motorcycle Units how to ride and is a Motorcycle accident investigator for the State. He was proud to say that he has never investigated a fatal accident where the rider had taken the MSF course. I would recommend that all scooter and cycle riders take the course, either the beginner or advanced.

I took the MSF class over three days (rain, oh joy) and tonight I took and passed my test with a perfect score. Way to go; I stalled and put a foot down in that figure 8. Lost 8 points and another 2 when I didn't accelerate fast enough at the end. I was driving a Honda Nighthawk and not my scooter for the test.
