I need some monster brakes like some of the scoots there have.

Yeah. Some of those are unbelievable. I think brakes that big on the back would not be that good of an idea.

Yeah, not sure what the point of that big of a brake for a scoot's rear tire is. This is basically unrelated, but kinda cool. I was out riding with 2 friends on their CBRs again today. After a near miss with a Ford Ranger that pulled out in front of me we were talking about brakes and looking at the pathetic brakes on my scoot vs brakes as big as my wheels on their bikes. One of them told me the 2010 Honda CBR will be available with combined ABS (actual working ABS, not the crap on our scoots). Check it out... www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Honda/honda_cbr600rr_abs%2008.htm

Yeah. I just read about this in a "2009 Streetbike Buyers Guide" magazine. It sounds like the best ABS system for bikes yet.

I don't thin ABS has progressed to the point where its acceptable for use on two wheeled vehicles. Traction control on the other hand can do basically the same thing and is more suited for bikes. If you need convincing look at Casey Stoner on the Ducati GP9.
cheers!
