What Ive seen so far. A 12mm pin motor has a 15.7mm Variator A 10mm pin motor has a 13mm Var. Can that be used instead of tearing down the motor?

I've never heard that before. You may be on to soemthing. Perhaps every crankshaft with 16mm variator splines was assembled with a connecting rod for a 12mm wrist pin? The way some people talk about variances in Chinese scoots it's hard to know if that will work for everyone. Both of my engines are 16mm splines and 12mm pins, but they are also both Vento motors from 2004 so that's not proving a lot. I know that at least for CPI and Vento 2003+ should mean 12mm and 2002- should be 10mm. Even then I remember hearing that some people with 2004 Ventos were finding 10mm pins.
