I'd like to compile a good list of road trip essentials. The list should consist of tools, safety gear, and other accesories one should not venture on even a short road trip without. I'll start the list with a couple of the obvious and hopefully we can buid it up.
Proper Safety Attire - motorcycle jacket, pants, gloves, boots, etc. Rain Gear

I was about to ask this question in a new thread. But instead I'll put it here. What parts, tools, ect., would you take on a scooter road trip?

I like to also carry a 20 oz clean soda bottle, a few zip lock bags, and the tool a bought for my mt bike. I don't know what you call it, but it's got about a dozen allen wrenches on it, and folds up like a pocket knife.

I've never seen a sofa in a bottle before. Seriously, what's the bottle for? I carry a tire repair kit with CO2 inflator; a small tool kit including hex keys, screwdriver, and several open-end wrenches, pressure gauge, and a multi-tool; a lock (MasterLock StreetCuffs); a bungee net; and a small log book.

OK, I meant soda bottle. It's for water for my radiator, or possible a little gas. My Pegasus reads E when it's still half full. So I never trust it. I also like to keep a pair of those purple surgical gloves in the box. They're great as a liner to my regular gloves, but only if it's a little too cold.

zip lock bags??? what for? The under seat compartment has an opening that leads to the carburetor. I put the small tools in the zip lock bag, so they don't get fall through the opening.

In addition to all said above, I carry a couple zip cords to cinch down on packages from shopping. I've known to have carried gas string trimmer(split into 2 pieces), windshield wiper(22 inch), large pizza and helmet and jacket in the back of seat with the zip cords.
