I have a new set of Polini reeds. When I installed them onto the stock cage one side fit good but the other you could see a little day light. Moved them around, flipped cleaned the cage, light sanding. Still I could see a little day light. If I loosen the screws a little no day light. Should I use lock tight and leave them loose snug?

I don't like the term "loose" much when you're talking about a part that will fall directly into the crankcase if it breaks free. It's kind of a hard call to make without being the one tightening the screw IMO. I would suggest making sure your thread locker is resistant to gas and oil. Let the thread locker cure whatever amount of time the package recommends before starting.
