i just got my hands on a new scoot and am having problems locating parts for this thing.
bike runs but does only about 30 at the most. i checked the belt and it looks good but there are a few crackes in the intake. any idea if the intake from my kymco people will fit this motor.
also will the tranny parts fit.
the kymco had a dr pully varatior in it and i would like to use this on the cpi.
the bike has about 11,000 miles on it.
this is my second cpi the first one i put about 50,000 miles on it and then gave it to a friend. bike is still running strong.

The CPI should have a minarelli style 2 stroke (1E40QMB). I believe the Kymco uses a different design so I doubt the intake bolt pattern will be the same. I would guess no on the variator too.

Cool, glad to hear you got another scoot! I have a CPI, my uncle has a Kymco, the parts you spoke of are not interchangeable that i know of. You do have the minarelli 1E40QMB, at least my 01 CPI mz50 Miskito does. 50,000 miles!?! Dang, i love my scoot even more now! Thanks!

i am thinking about a 65cc kit i found on provo scooters and it is only about 50 bucks. what size jets would be good for this kit?

Never heard of that kit, but that's really cool for a budget builder.
A larger piston will create more vacuum and draw more fuel through. Your jetting will probably be just fine. I still suggest doing plug checks after a rebuild/install to be sure. I used the stock carb and stock jetting when I put an MRP 70cc kit on my 49cc Triton and it actually ran on the rich side, although still not enough to add a high flow air filter.
