I just purchased a 2007 TGB Key West scooter with 900 miles on it. It has never been wrecked or dropped. It does have some minor scrapes from moving it in and out of the garage. I got it for $300.00, hope this was a good price. It does have a fuel issue. I rode it today, went about a 1/2 mile, pulled in my drive way,it idled down and stopped like it was out of gas. While riding it, ran great 40mph and climbing. I have another post on here about the fuel issue, just cant find the culprit. I had the carb off, the flaot level was not correct, float was not level when the carb was upside down. The float was dropping down, to me this is not normal. I am going to take the carb off againe to see if the float level can be adjusted(anyone know if it can be??). I hope $300.00 was not to much for it. shoot me some ideas from out there in scooter land. All the post I have made, everyone has stepped up the the plate and saved me a lot of grief. Keep up the good work ;D ;D

I don't think the plastic floats are adjustable. They're manufactured to achieve the desired float level.

Thanks for you input, I hate to buy a new carb, but after some real intense diagnostic I went back and tightened all hose clamps,re adjusted the carb and now this thing flies. It runs perfect, idles perfect. It will start very easy now. I am going to take it on a 10 mile trip to make sure all is well,I will have a chase truck in case it quits on me.
