Finally managed to get some pics I had hoped to get a month ago...went up the hill. From the west side of Cougar Mountain(Hill) we have a view of some tiny little burg called Seattle maybe 15 miles in the distance framed by the Olympic Mountains 50 or 100 miles in the distance. In the lower right of the picture is the space needle. The a took a little tool over to the North Side...here we have a partial view of Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Range and Mount Baker(all 10,778 feet of it) 100 miles away in the Background. Then I tooled over to the sound side of the mountain to take in Mt Rainer..nothing like a 14,000 ft Volcano only 75 miles away to remind one that mama nature is boss. Then to finish the day off I tooled over to the east side of the mountain to take a gander at the Cascade Range to the East...these mountains are only 40 or 50 miles away.

awesome pics...love Seattle...last trip up took the Victoria Clipper up to B.C., gorgeous country
