as I posted a week or two ago, I had a problem with my scoot stalling when throttle was applied, then after a while it came back. I thought it might be water in the gas. I checked and the gas did not have any water. I ran down some of the gas tank, and got fresh gas. Today it was around 45 degrees, so I took a ride of about 5 miles. Then later on I did around another 10 miles. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. Ran great, hit 40 on a road that is my test strip - 40 is as high as it can go on this road before I have to slow down for an intersection. Idle is strong, no stalling or anything. So I can't figure this one out. Maybe had some bad gas, maybe something was stuck in the jet and now got out? Maybe even dropped out when I drained the carb bowl? Anyone got any ideas? QMB40 2 stroke Benelli M50 with NGK plug. 1800 miles on the clock.

It could be one of the things you mentioned. My other thought would be temperature differences between your rides. A friend's scoot would run well in mild to hot weather, but terrible in cold, dense, air. Upjetting fixed that for him.

I don't know. I rode yesterday and today, under 40 degrees. Ran just fine. I do start it up just about every day. I wish I had more mechanical ability.
