www.roketa.com/product/2610/0/46002.shtmlSaw this at Roketa site, looks like a new bigger offering. Specs are vague and appear generic. So who knows maybe a 270cc rounded up to 300cc. But it looks like they joining the bigger scooter market. They do sell a utility vehicle with a 800cc motor would be interesting to see that in a scooter.

Everything I could find on a BZ169MM engine says 250cc.

Some of the specs convert to 16.6 hp and 80 mph. The engine listed is a 250cc. The listing seems to be a work in progress. Check out the seats on the 250cc models.

Perhaps this is a copy of the Linhia 275cc which is a bored out, enhanced 257cc, copied from Yamaha. I it would be nice for Roketa, Tank, SunL and others to offer a slightly bigger displacement scooter.

That is a sweet looking trike but if is a 250cc then 55mph will be tops with all that weight!

Mike - No, no, no. The specs say 100 mpg and 120 mph. They gotta be true - they're on the internet, right?
Actually, the trike is pretty cool looking. Gary

The engine/drive train shown is definitely of the Linhai/Yamaha design.

Its a clone of the SYm GTS 250. The only visual difference is the headlights. Mine is an exact 250cc, but i tops out at 150kph (around 93mph). If that is a 270cc bigger engine, it should go as fast or faster.

Oh great, just great! Now we have clones of clones. Roketa is knocking off the Linhai 300 (which did appear to be an original design). And unlike Linhai, the body, engine, and other parts will probably be cobbled together from various parts bins. It will probably end up like the VOG 260 did. I almost bought one of those because it was so appealing to the eye, but at the last minute, switched my purchase to a Linhai which I'm so glad that I did.

Come on now Cookees:
Roketa is only a name, many people have owned Roketa scooters, with a positive satisfaction. Depending who actually builds the scooter, and the cost, it may be a real good deal.

Come on now Cookees: Roketa is only a name. That's just my point. You have no idea what you're buying when you buy one. It could be a great scooter (like you said, lots of folks here have them and love them), or it could be the worst mistake of your life. There's no way to tell. Not to bash Roketa, but I feel better with a Linhai because I at least know that it was all made in one place, the body, engine, and frame were all manufactured and put together by the same factory. My Linhai seems to have gone through some good QC people - I regularly check but have not yet found any loose bolts except for my chrome exhaust shield that had the rubber washers deteriorate. Again, you're right. It could potentially be a good deal. Or it could be a case of you get what you pay for. I don't even know if this scooter is on the market yet, but if it does make it to the US Market, it would be something that you'd need to jump into with your eyes wide open and realistic expectations (which is pretty true with all Chinese scooters, or even scooters in general, since they all break down at some point).

Okay... I stand corrected.
What I should have said is:
The Only problem I see is:
It's imported by Goldenvale, made by the lowest cost bidder they could find...and badged a Roketta
PS. What do they call the student who graduates DEAD LAST from medical school??

Absolutely no relationship with any SYM. The SYM GTS/RV250 has a high tech, ceramic coated engine, etc. This thing is just a low tech, low efficiency copy of a copy, etc.
