I bought a 50 cc scoot online and have no owners manual etc. I have had troubles with the ride since the beginning but I am learning my way around the bike and have been greatful for the info I have gleaned from this site in the past week. My big question is how much oil to put in the crankcase. I read that most take about a quart but the guy I got mine from said it should be about 1/2 that. That amount doesn't register on the dipstick. What I have is a 4 stroke 50 cc model SL50QT-7(YY50QT-6) made by Shanghai Shenke / Jonway. Can anyone tell me anything about my scoot or at least a range for oil capacity?

Thanx for the info. I guess I have a QMB139. After many starting and running problems i got an NGK plug and it seems to run great so far.
