ride is bumpy to work and last thurs i caught the rain on the way home. 13 miles with only a t-shirt and light rain. 32 degrees much less with wind chill. lol my arms and hands were bright red when i got home.. lesson learned!(i didnt want to ruin my leather jacket inthe rain so i put it under the seat) tomorrow will be 19 in the morning but 35 in the afternoon. that will be to cold for me. i ordered a rainsuit. not here yet but if it was id go tomorrow. rain suit is windproof also. ya its a blast to ride ive had no problems with my roketa yet! next step is to see how accutate the speedo is. according to it i got up to 63 mph. can do 55 all the wayto work if i wanted but im not in that much of a hurry. need to order a spare belt and the iridium plug. i meant to check my plug condition this weekend but didnt. i dont really want to run it with weather below 30 may cause the motor to run lean. 30 is probably bad enough. 32 today and ran great.

Greg, ruining your leather jacket is much better than ruining your health. It is very possible to let your body temperature get too low, you can go into shock and wind up in the ER. It's called hypothermia. Anyway, I don't know what kind of leather jacket you bought, but mine has been soaked through many times, and still looks good. Congratulations on riding to work, anything that makes one look forward to going to work is pretty powerful Good Medicine! Nurse Nickie

this morning it was 20 degrees and on the way home as usual it was raining and 35. scoot runs great and at 110 miles now. it sits in and drives in the rain and no problems at all.

Greg, let use know what kind of rainsuit you bought and how well it protects. I personally ride with Gore-Tex gear and it keeps me warm and dry in WA State. We have 35-40 degree weather a lot through the winter, but even when it rains, this stuff is like armor. Got it at Cabela's. Can't say enough good things about it. Happy scooting.
