My daughter and I were out running around the local lake Sunday and what did we see? Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of it. However the one we saw was in pristine condition in a turquise blue. They just drove the thing right into the lake, put the covertable top down and were cruising along like it was an every day thing. It's truly amazing what one sees when one doesn't have a camera! JD

When I was a kid, my brother and I used to hunt down a local guy that had one. We would chase him down with our '57 Chris Craft and circle him and make him ride the waves. I think down deep we wanted to see the thing sink. They made really poor boats as well as poor cars. That dosen't say much for my childhood though.

I used too see one on Daytona Beach all the time. It didn't matter when you went there no matter what time of the year this guy would be cruising the beach. I swear he had no job because thats all he did ALL day long. It was pretty cool, but he never took that thing in the saltwater though so I never really saw that one in the water.

Neat cars, err, boats, err cars, err .... There is a club for them and some folks have several. Was always facinated by them when they were sor sale but never in the position to afford one just to play.
