I went out and did my (first) real canyon riding this morning. A 40 mile loop through Malibu, CA along Mulholland Hwy, Malibu Canyon, Pacific Ccoast Hwy and a return home up Kanan-Dume Rd. I was able to hold my own with the other canyon drivers. Didn't get a chance to scrape my center stand -- maybe next time. Its only about a dozen mile to the coast but its a critical link for me to some great local destinations....just in time for lobster season! I bought a camera this last weekend and took some pics (finally) picasaweb.google.com/PicasaDean/BurgmanAN400K8#

I am familiar with the code, but maybe I am temporarily blind. Here is what I put, copied/pasted from original post. I replaced the [] with {} so code can be rendered here
{img} htp://lh3.ggpht.com/PicasaDean/SOUQpuaLPKI/AAAAAAAAACQ/C1fhAViec8U/DSCF0011_sm.jpg{/img}
{img}http://lh3.ggpht.com/PicasaDean/SOURCOThsEI/AAAAAAAAACc/t1yhWj6wR1s/DSCF0003.JPG{/img}
{img}http://lh4.ggpht.com/PicasaDean/SOURKBF6z2I/AAAAAAAAACk/1TCELRk6WMI/DSCF0008.JPG{/img}
When I put the url into my browser i get the image. The placeholders appear in the forum so the tags are working.

Part of those URLs are missing.
Your first image URL...
http://lh3.ggpht.com/PicasaDean/SOUQpuaLPKI/AAAAAAAAACQ/C1fhAViec8U/DSCF0011_sm.jpg
The URL for that image I copied from the host's site...
http://lh3.ggpht.com/PicasaDean/SOUQpuaLPKI/AAAAAAAAACQ/C1fhAViec8U/s512/DSCF0011_sm.jpg
The original code is missing the /s512 folder.

Photobucket is the popular choice. It works well for me and allows image resizing, cropping, slideshows, and more.

Thats really neat. Being a 2 stroke fan I couldn't help noticing it's called the Zuma Canyon. ;D

If you look at Zuma Canyon map again ( techonadesk.com/hikes/map.htm) and zoom in on the west side of that point (Point Dume) you will notice a road called Westward Beach Rd. 3 of the photos were taken at the far eastern terminus of that road. The one with the trash can was on the western end.
