Hello
I just bought a used Viva YY50QT scoot off of an individual...he said it was a 4 stroke and the owners manual(if you want to call it that) says it is a 4 stroke but I cant find an oil fill port. There is a plastic jug under the seat with oil in it which makes me believe its a 2 cycle...can anyone tell me for sure if this is a 4 or 2 stroke engine?
If if is do I use regular 2 cycle oil in it?...the only other port i can find is a plug back behind the kick starter but it looks like a gear box type of oil...that looks low to me too...would that take a regular gear oil?
He bought it for his daughter and she hardly ever rode it...it has been sitting for a while and only has 87 miles on it.
I hope this is enough information and thanks in advance for any info.

Never heard of a 4 stroke scoot having an oil reserve and the oil fill spout for a 4 stroke should be pretty obvious. Usually that would be on the right side of the scoot, just after the floorboard. If if is do I use regular 2 cycle oil in it? Yeah. There are multiple threads here with 2 stroke oil info/opinions. the only other port i can find is a plug back behind the kick starter but it looks like a gear box type of oil...that looks low to me too...would that take a regular gear oil? Yes.
