No, that's the new Lifan LF150S-4! It just came out. It's a 150cc scooter designed as a replica knockoff of an '01 Honda CBR600F4i. No shifting, no clutch, no problem! It has all the looks but none of the dangerous performance of the real thing. It's kind of slow, though...

One of my friends has an '08 CBR600RR Lifan replica and another friend has had his eye on an F4i for sale. I like the Hondas... errr Lifans too, just don't have the cash for one. Nice scoot.

Nice! I didn't know Lifan had automatic motorcycle-like scooters. CFMoto has a nice automatic motorcycle that rides like a scooter. But your Lifan is making me want to take a second look. I have a 150 scooter now but I need something else more faster/bigger engine. I'll have to check out Lifan's website. Thanks for sharing! Update: I just checked out Lifan's website and I did not see that scooter/motorcycle on there? What's up with that? What's up? I think I'll stick with the CFMoto V5 in red-

probably cause hes pullin your legs i bet you can find it on a honda website,
very nice bike but ill take the big boys bike in a 1000 as the 600 runs out of steam before the 1000 will and thats what my boys ride and i must keep up, lol

I'm totally pulling your legs... See how it says "Honda" on it twice, as well as "CBR" on the upper fairing? And actually, the F4i is a discontinued model, so you won't find it on Honda's website. You will, however, find the successor- the 600RR.
Yes, the 600 runs out of steam before the liter bikes do, but most liter bike owners are retards, so I have no problem keeping up with them. Unless you're talking 100+ on the highway through traffic, and in that case, I make the squids wait for me because I have nothing to prove on the street.
I am curious how you keep up with your "boys" on a 75 HP steel- framed CB750, since you're down 35 HP and up almost 100 lbs. from where my slow 600 is, among other things...

www.nada.com will tell you what the bike is worth. Off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you... my bike, with 19K miles, books for $3800. I got it for $3K even because it needed a speed sensor, had a short to ground on the 12V+ constant wire going to the gauge cluster (clock would reset every time the bike was shut off), needed new tires, needs a cam chain tensioner and has cracked plastic here and there. These are minor things in my eyes, since I did the work myself, and since it's going to be a track day/ MSF instruction bike, I didn't want a Starbucks bike, so I don't care about the plastic. If the '06 is more than you can swing, take a look at the older ones... These are Hondas, and when properly maintained, will go 60,000+ miles without anything major happening. Go head over to www.cbrforum.com and do some reading. Regarding the '06... It has a different seat than mine, which is much more comfortable, but not quite as easy to slide around on as the '01-'03 seats. A lot of guys with '04+ bikes will swap tails because the split seat is more geared towards track riding. All '01+ F4i bikes are fuel injected and it's a great system. If you haven't done one yet, go do a track day. Honestly- Until you do, you aren't a good rider. I mean that about everyone and not just you specifically. You will learn so much and will be able to do so in a safe environment.

As a current Honda owner, you know that any Honda is going to be a great bike. I would never get a liter bike because a good rider on a 600 will walk all over an OK rider on a liter bike, and I'd rather be a good rider on a capable bike than an OK rider on a bike that I'm always a step behind.
My F4i out of the box will run low 11's and will hit 60 in under 4 seconds. It also weighs 370 lbs, is cheap to insure (costs the same as my Longbo; go figure), will get 55-60 MPG if I keep it below 5K RPM, and I will never be able to exceed the bike's limits on the street even at unreasonably illegal speeds. I mean, hell... it'll do 75 in 2nd gear and with my Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires, I can just about double any posted speed limit around a turn. If I want to just go ride it leisurely like I would my scooter, I can; it's light enough and is quite tame below 5000 RPM. If I want to lift a wheel, do deep into the triple digits or drag a knee, it will certainly do that if I ask it to. The F4i is reputed to be one of, if not THE best all around sport bike of all time, and after owning one for just over a week and comparing it to other Hondas, Kawis, Suzukis and Ducatis I've ridden, I can agree that it is truely among the best, most highly refined, most streetable and most capable bikes you can buy without having to sell a kidney.
If you want the 1000, do it. It's your money and your bike. If you need that to keep up with your "boys," and none of them have done a track day or two, go get a 600, do some track time, and walk their asses on a slow 600. Riding fast is 90% rider, 5% tires and 5% bike. I've seen guys on EX500 Ninjas spank 600's, and I see 600's mauling 1000's all the time. I see it so much, I almost think that 1000's are slower, all things being equal.

thanks for the info, i have been on toys my whole life, fast off road was where i spent most of my time, but i always had a 750cc bike since 90 before that i had a 360 and a 550oh and a couple of 650 enduros.
i've always been into sleds as they were not policed when i got started so i always had a big hp arm rippin sled till i bought a 07 phazer.
80 hp its 1/2 the hp im used to but as i got older i figured 80mph ditches were takin theyre toll and the girls were riding it so i figured id use it every once in awhile, well for the first 2 weeks i was like what the hell did i do. then all of a sudden we had a nice storm, and i went out and beat the snot out of her and came home happy and not beat up,
so what i learned as i gained wisdom was you can only use so much throttle, at a given time and that sled is about the closest ive been to hold her wot, so she passses bigger sleds in tighter terrain and leaves them. so it sounds like the same scenario to me, differnt sport but the same i guess.
do you feel you have to shift alot or will it lug a little, me being lazy lol, i figured the insurance on a 600 would be crazy as alot of newbs get them?
i call them my boys because i have kids theyre age lol and they want to have a club so i called them the backroad boys and they liked it lol

I definetly have to shift it more than my Legend because the gears are a lot closer together, and just riding around on surface streets, I find myself in 6th gear by 45 MPH, which is around 3800- 4000 RPM. From there, I could easily go up an onramp and merge with authority without having to downshift. Granted, it won't accelerate that fast like that, but it'll keep up with any normal car in that situation. 80 MPH in 6th is about 7500 RPM, and at that point, it's ready to rip. If you were following an 18 wheeler at that speed and went WOT without downshifting, you'd be in front of them in about three seconds. If that sounds like a lot of revs, keep in mind it redlines at 14,200 RPM. But yeah, to answer simply, it will lug, but gets pissy below 2500 if you're in 4th or higher.
My Longbo costs $80 a year for basic liability. My F4i increased that by $25. Granted, I'm an MSF graduate and am enrolled to become an MSF instructor, am 30, married, am active duty military, have about 10 years of riding and no tickets. I asked how much it'd be to insure just the F4i, and they said $80, same as the Longbo. Go figure.
When you get your 600 or 1000... go do a track day. I'm serious. I can't say it enough.... track day, track day, track day. I've seen people out there with 25 years experience, and they're learning stuff.

It's my personal opinion that this machine should not be called a scooter. To me, scooters are defined by body design not engine size and twist & go. I would call this bike a "motorcycle replica." All the large displacement "scooters" on the market I would call "motorbike hybrids." Let's safe the term scooter for "step-through" frames.
