I'm gonna try and remove the Gator decals later this month when I can get some time off.

I hear that heating them up with a hair dryer or similar device works well with that removal project...

Nice scoot.
Nice Camaro. I like the big 'n' littles on it. I wish they made draglites for scoots.

Yeah the Gator decals def gotta go. They don't look like they're gonna be an easy job but they're coming off regardless. My dogs just might pull it off this year, they should've played in the BCS championship last year. 90GTVert thanks for the comp on the camaro. Actually need to work on it some since I'll be taking it to the track the 28th. Hoping to get in the 12s with just bolt-ons. She's close at 13.23@101.74 with a 1.77 short time. I figure if I can knock off 200 lbs that should give me 13.03 and Im going from a 3.42 to 3.73 gear so that should put me in the 12 if everything works according to plan.

Only 0.24 seconds from a 12. I dunno how much it's been ran to get your low time, but you may be able to knock that 1/4 of a second off with a just a little better shifts. If not, the new gears alone should get you there, without losing any weight (assuming it can hook 'em). Good luck with it.

This cars been down the 1/4 at least 150 times and thats not being generous. I've had it since 2000 and am on 2nd motor and 3rd rearend. I run M/T ET Streets so it hooks decently, she's just a pig at 3680 with me in it and I weigh right around 260lbs. Trying to get her down to 3400 with me in her. After I get 12s with bolt-on I'll probably throw a cam in there with new valvetrain and 1.6 roller rockers and shoot for low to mid 12s. Then I'm gonna try and not mess with her anymore, but u know how that goes. I said I'd be happy to just get 13.99 then I wanted 13.49 now I want 12.99, then 12.49 and so and so. If I had the balls I'd throw a 150 shot on her.

150 passes, nice. I've made 1 pass on a track before and then got kicked off for not having a cage at the time.

I did bracket racing for 2 yrs till it got too costly. Hopefully one day I get kicked off for not having a cage. I won't ever put one in there, I'm too fat to be squeezing in n out while it can still be driven daily if gas ever goes back down or I start making big cheese.

I only ran a 13.01 at the time (mine's a vert so it needed a cage at 13.99). I just wanted to go and run a 12 to prove it. I did a 13.01 with a 2.0 60ft, then the track official yelled at me for lack of a helmet and cage. If I wasn't nervous and launched the right way, the car would have at least got me the 12.99 I wanted to see. I think it coulda gone 12.70 or so at the time.
I do have a cage now. I'm 285 pounds. I got the type with removable swingouts, and I leave them out all the time but could put them in to satisfy track officials if I wanted to run again.

Yeah I thought about the removeable swingout but 11.49 is a long ways off. What doesn't make since is you can take a 911 vert or vette vert and run mid 12s and they don't say anything to them cause they're considered stock. I guess a lot has to do with each tracks decision makers. I tell ya I live in Mustang country, actually Ford country, they're all over the place and is one of the main reason I went with the General.

It never made much sense to me either about the stock cars getting away with stuff. I guess they assume the factory designed them to be safe enough for their speed, dunno what the logic is on that.
There area a lot of 'stangs around, but there is no shortage of f-bodies around here either. Both are cool in my book, as well as a lot of other muscle and street rod types. Owneres ruin the cars in some cases.... you know the cocky types with 14 second cars that think they are the fastest thing in town. Those guys/gals annoy me more than any make or model.

Yeah I like them all myself fast cars, show cars, even the fast imports but like you said most can barely get under 15 and they always have cocky owners.
