I installed my 72cc kit on my TNG Venice. After some tweaking it ran good. Running stock air box, stock pipe, NGK BR9HS plug. Rode it about 20 miles the first day, then went on a nice scoot ride of about 40 miles total. Stopped food about 5 miles from home. Start her up pull into traffic and it starts bogging. No power, 25 MPH max when i was able to get well above 40 MPH before. Got back to the shop pulled the plug a little oily and fouled. New plug made very little difference. 1/4 throttle ok but anything over that and intermittent bogging. Pulled the carb off tonight and that is where she sits. I will look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes.
Gizmoduck is done venting now.
Time for some beers! Cheers.

Look for a intake leak causing a loss of vaccuum. Then check out the ignition coil and spark plug wire and spark plug cap closely. Usually when this happens with me, the ignition coil is going bad. A loose spark plug cap, or spark plug wire can cause the high voltage sparks to increase tremendously causing the inner wire coils to short out and go bad. If you have a air filter box, check to make sure it didn't come loose allowing the engine to breathe too freely. Finally if this is a 2 cycle engine, look closely at the head as best you can as the head gasket could be leaking, as well as the cylinder base gasket. In some cases a crankshaft seal started leaking too.

Pulled the carb apart today. There was a big old booger in the main jet. Blow it out andit runs way better.
Thanks for the help.
