I really like what you did with the Morphous. Very clean and low key, where did you get those fins?

that is very nice, for me morphous is the best quality scooter, the suspension is amazing, and it is fuel injected. aerodynamic design, big headlight for plenty of light. and the body is very shine like a cadillac. definitely a headturner.

I want a Morphous. A blue one. Mmmm yeah, but the problem is where to get replacement parts since yamaha stops circulating morphous in the US. starting '09. that's why i see lots of morphous being sold on CL. ranging from 2.8k to 3.5k starting 09 it will be like a disposable type of scooter, if the fuelinjection system starts to act up,that will be the end. since there's nowhere to find parts in US,it will become a garage decoration. unless you want to ship it from japan. so just wait, prices of morphous will go down to probably 1.2---1.5k very soon ,i'm talking about 2006-2008 morphouses. . plus considering decreasing gas prices too.

A lot of the parts are interchangeable with the Majesty. Yamaha will still be around. I think the Morphous could make a comeback if the demand picked up. Honda dropped the Helix in 1978 because it didn't catch on right away. It came back for a long run. Excuse me, I goofed. It was 1988 when they dropped the Helix. Then demand brought back in the '90s.

Nice dress up there warstein! Really clean job, I think elegant is a fitting term.
I agree with you, the Morph is not likely to become an abandoned step child. Very few machines of any function are composed of exclusive components! Maybe a unique cosmetic feature or custom piece here and there, but the critical working mechanisms are almost always shared with other machines, only the configuration will be different. Ergo, there will be decent support for the Morphous in the critical areas... and as you mention, it is likely that it will be brought back to the US. Things have changed a lot in the good ole US of A recently, and I am not speaking of the gyrating gas prices! This entire economy has lost its sense of focus, and who knows how much longer the politicians will keep messing with things. I am not a doomsayer, but until they let the economy recover on its own who knows what may come down... maybe rickshaws will become our public transportation mode! ;d

I thought the Morph was butt ugly when I first seen it. But as time goes on its really starting to grow on me. It has a beauty and elegance all its own. -Zug

Morphs have always been super sexy to me , but its usually either a hate or love thing for most, they are slick, it just seems like the type of scooter you wouldnt expect to see in the US
