So I just went for a 3 mile night ride, wide open 80% of the way at 35-45 mph and when I got home notice inside my exhaust was cherry red? whats up with that? Two days ago I drilled 3 1/4" holes in the back,(gained some noise, power and mph) but I know that would not make that happen.Any ideas?

Well, actually I think that the drilled holes probably leaned it out some and is causing the high heat.
Did you notice the glow before the drilled holes? You may want to try raising your jet needle a notch or so and see if that helps.

OPening up the exhaust can lean it out. You may need to adjust the mixture screw, but that's not going to fix your problem at WOT. You can try raising the jet needle (moving the clip down a notch or so) but if it's that lean you may need to go up a size on the main jet. You might wanna pull the spark plug and see how bad it looks too.

vert, I have a stock carb do I need to find out the brand of my carb to get jets or do any 50cc carb jets fit? Also do you think I can get them at a small engine repair shop?there is one near me....

You'll definitely need to figure out what you've got... all 50cc carbs aren't the same. Your best bet will prob be to remove the main jet and take it to the small engine shop, then try a bike shop if the first one doesn't have one.
