Hello! I own a Tank and have been having drive issues lately. It has under 2000 miles on it and I have replaced the drive belt twice already, both times for shredded belt. Now, after its 3rd belt, i have lost top end speed. When new, it would easily attain 45 mph, now it barely hits 30! Drive pulley (CVT?) appears good, but haven't taken it apart to see if worn or broken. Am I better off just buying the new CVT or is there something else I should be looking for? Also, What kind of tweaks and adjustments can I do to get better performance in general?

wdchatbot,
Welcome to the dawg pound... that is pretty bad life spans for the CVT belt, you should get at least several thousand miles on one.
I would suspect you have something amiss in the CVT structure causing damage to the belts. Maybe a burr on one the face of the clutch pullies, or really bad alignment between the driven gear (front set, variator) and the clutch in the back...
might post in the General section or the 50cc section, most likely someone has better insight than I do.
