That's awesome! I've been talking about a new horn. Riding one day landscaper with blower grass clippings in the face with no FF helmet sucked. Blower was so loud he didn't hear me horn till I was eating grass dirt & rocks. I put an air horn on my Frontier because it wasn't loud enough for me ;D

I got a horn for a H-D at a garage sale for a couple bucks that sounds quite different than meep-meep. It was a direct replacement for the stock horn. Not being scientific, but, I'd guess it is about 4-5 times as loud. Haven't had to use it yet. I tend to agree with Warstein on the controlling thing. I too have been riding motorcycles for about 49-50 years and upon reflection, I try to make sure I am not in a uncomfortable place when I am in traffic. I'm sure the traffic I drive in, being in North Dakota, is a great deal different than most of the good people here. But, I purposely do not let myself get into an intersection with a cager if I am the only vehicle in my lane. My little thing against the infamous cager turning left into my path. I ride with the headlight on high beam during the day and am constantly checking out the cross traffic at upcoming intersections, as well as the "safety cone" around me, whether on/in either of our cycles or cars. I play the what-if game a lot and although I have never taken the MSF course, my bad, I have ridden several exercises I have found on different sites and have viewed the dvd put out by a retired California motorcycle officer. 50 years and have been down once on a hot, oil slicked road about 35 years ago. Gotta be lucky, eh?
Thanks for letting me rant.

I Like! I like! I can just see the cagers astonished face when he looks around and you're there grinning or maybe frowning. Haha!
