Got the scoot on Friday but ddn't get a chance to ride until Sunday. Used every excuse to ride that day!
Last night we did our first night ride. I know, I don't even have a permit, but Tom really wanted to test out the lights. His excuse. We just went around our neighborhood around 11pm. The lights on mine are great! I love the brights, they light up the sides of the road near the bike and I don't think they blind oncoming cars. And I got to test out the new helmet. Does well and doesn't obstruct my periferal vision at all.
Today I did all my errands on the scoot.
Oooops! Forgot to go to the bank! See ya later!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

For a minute there when you said you got to "test the new helmet" I was worried! Oh NOOOOOO!!!!! Just wanted to make sure I could see out of it. Its just a bit closer to the eyes than my other helmet and the face shield was a new thing. But it's a great helmet and I'm lucky I got it.

wooohoo, Ginny. Hope you're out there burning up the miles and having a blast on those new scoots ! Oh yeah! Last night I was doing some volunteer work and when I left it was sunny and warm. When my shift was over I came out and it was REALLY WINDY and the dark clouds were overhead. I asked Mother Nature to hold off for a few miles and for the most part she did. Just a small sprinkle and the full face shield did it's job nicely. But the WIND! It wanted me everywhere but where I was. I slowed so it was easier to stay in my lane but it had me worried for a mile or so. But I got home safe and sound and just had to peel my fingers off the grips.

The wind can get really freaky sometimes! Just take it easy and concentrate and you'll be fine. Glad you're digging your new scoot!
