Just a quick hello from Cape Cod. Just got an extreme expresso 50cc 2 stroke. Bought at a scooter shop in Avon, MA. I weigh over 200 and had it up to 40 on the flat. Easily 38 mph up and down hills if I don't have to slow down to much on a hill. This thing is fast. Used my gps to test speedometer and only off by 1 1/2 mph. Does this speed mean its not restricted? Are they all supposed to be restricted but some chinese bikes don't bother?

Greetings loneranger1205, I own a 2 stroke as well and I've had to do several derestrictions to get the speeds you're getting so I'd say yes, you're not restricted. Maybe it was never restricted from the factory or maybe the dealer took em off. Some dealers do. I weigh around 170 and before my new exhaust and bigger jet, hills were just killing me. I drive some 35 mph roads and now I can maintain that even up hill with some reserve, again similar to the speeds you're getting. You might start a thread in the 2 stroke section and describe your scoot. A free flow air filter or some other mods might make a bit stronger yet!
And welcome to the Dawg Pound! ;D
