Hello all!
Been reading your forum for a few weeks, and decided to come in out of shadows.
I started into scootering back in June with a (very) used Wildfire. Had a lot of problems with it, and decided to sell it and buy new.
Looks like I am almost 100% set on a Xingyue XY150T-7, although the right persuasion might make me consider the VOG260.
Can anyone who owns the 150cc version give me a solid estimate on top speed they are actually getting once the scooter is through break in? The Wildfire was good for about 55 mph, but I have a decent size hill I need to climb going to work, and by the time I was to the top, I was down to well less than 40, which is scary on a rural 45mph road. I weigh 275, so I am sure I am part of the problem. But if others can give me the warm and fuzzies that the 150 will keep me up over 45, that'll be the ticket for me.
I participate in a number of other forums on various topics (including a Boy Scout forum), and you guys all seem very pleasant, courteous and helpful.
Good luck to ail of you, and I look forward to rejoining the ranks of the scooter owners soon!
Mark

MK9750...my 150 does 40-45 very comfortably, 50-55 is pushing it a little. I don't have any big hills to climb but I think from what you've described, you might be better served with the higher cc scoot.
I can't give you any advice on which one of those is a good buy because my scoot is a 150cc.
Let us know what you choose and post pics!
tcat6548--you'll get more responses if you post on the 125cc and up section. Sorry I can't help you with your quest.
