What do you guys suggest to always have in your trunks for safety and emergencies/repair?

gauze, splints, needle and thread (disinfected), self-sticking clothes patches.
Oh...did you mean for the repair of the scooter?

I always cary my gloves so if it rains it won't sing my hands. I also just ordered a tubless tire repair kit with inflator that I won't leave home without. One flat is enough to learn my lesson.

Though some will laugh when I say this, but I would suggest (next to the standard tools), carrying Duck tape and a small role of metal wire, or a folded clothes hanger. I dropped my muffler out of state due to a hook breaking loose and was able to wire it up with a clothes hanger until I made it home. As for the duck tape, it's the poor mans super glue

A cell phone in my pocket. Plus, I have a scooter carrier hanging on the wall of our garage, and harness straps in my SUV. So in an emergency a cell phone call to my wife and she puts the carrier in the SUV and comes to pick me up. I hope it never happens but I'm prepared.

What NO WD-40? And some of you guys are from the south - you know the adage - if it moves and it's not suppose to - Duct Tape (or bailing wire for muffler applications), if it suppose to move and doesn't - WD-40. Sorry bout that, but I had ta.
Seriously, at this point I have - mid sized phillips head screwdriver, an 8mm, 10 and 12mm socket with wrench and extension, a small first aid kit (ok, just various size band-aides - I don't know why, if anything happens a band-aide most likely isn't going to fix it), a roll of electrical tape (duct tapes brother), and a plug wrench. I've got this all in the same little pouch under the seat. So far, even when I'm working on it at home, the tools I have listed cover 95% of anything I need to do or un-do.
I NEVER ride without my cellphone. I think that's about the most important thing to carry.

I keep it to a minimum. A small OEM tool kit, a tire repair with CO2 inflator and a cell phone. Of course, no more than 5 miles radius around my house on most occasions. Longer than that, I have other means.

Learned something new today. Carry a few nuts and bolts in the sizes common to your scooter. My muffler broke on HWY-51 today because the lock bolts vibrated loose and there were no open auto parts stores for miles.

Scoots, Good stuff to have on hand. I also carry: extra tube of lipstick, sunscreen, bottle of water, credit card, reusable shopping bag, (you never know when you'll see a sale), and a light. One night, I would have been stranded till daylight if I hadn't had a flashlight. Nickie
