After 1 year of ownership (On 7/31/08) and 6200km I think I finally hit the sweet spot. 'bout time ;D I put a heavier torque spring in it.... in combination with my 6.5g rollers I am now ALWAYS in the peak powerband. Finally. I like going from 50mph (indicated, more like ~44) let go of the throttle to 30 and pick back up in the revs I was at. It accelerates harder now then ever. I also put a new michelin pilot sport tire on the rear which increased handling tremendously. Finally nice to be dialed in, in tune, and thought to share

Yeah, I've got a bit done to mine... but I'm not that happy, I'm looking into 90cc swap or maybe buying a different scoot. Once you modify one you hate the way they are stock.

Yeah, looking to upgrade soon;
73cc Airsal 19mm Arreche carb Technigas RSII exhaust.
For the time being this is the first I have really been happy with how it's running. Maybe it's just the fact my CVT is now in tune with the engine which took a lot of trial and error. She just runs like a beast (for a 50) and I am thrown back by the acceleration I never knew it had. The upgrade torque spring was probably the best performance mod to date.

Just curious, what torque spring did you use?
I run either a 1500 or 2000 RPM spring with 4g rollers. 2000 shaves a couple mph from the top, but is fun in town.

It was 1500, yellow in color, from Scooter-Attack in China. At first is felt a little too heavy, lost about 5MPH. When I ported my exhaust a little this gave me more RPM's and now my top end is the same. I might need to go 2000 when I put the 70cc in it, we'll see.
