Howdy all. I live in East Texas near Lufkin. I recently bought a Sunl SL150-21B and am enjoying the little bike. I look kinda funny riding it though -- I-m 6'2" and 210 Lbs., just 10 pounds under the scoot's weight limit! It carries me the 24.6 miles to work every day so I make about a 50 mile round trip @ 55 Mph. I have about 750 miles on the scooter and it seems to be about time to adjust the valve clearance as it is just starting to clatter a bit (I use 90+ octane gas). I am also trying to figure out how I'm going to add gearbox oil. The manual is clear on where to drain and add oil, but even the dealer looked at it and said he didn't know how to get the oil in without laying the scooter on its side. I'm thinking a flexible funnel. I came across this board while looking for info on the gearbox oil thing and saw that you folks have a nice little community here. I thought this would be a good place to settle for a while. I'm used to good, polite communities as I also am a member of the Ubuntu (Linux) forums. Great community there as well. Anyway I'll end it there. Hi to all and I hope to have a little fun here.

Yup. I'm the shift 2 security supervisor at Brookshire Brothers' warehouse - and if you know what Brookshire Brothers is, you really are an East Texan.

@malport: Bought it from a dealer in Lufkin. Its easier to get them registered that way. I need to get a broken bolt puller (ease-out) because I went to tighten the bolt that holds on the front of my breather and the bolt snapped clean off. Seriously, it gave absolutely no resistance as it sheared off. As far as OS, I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 - Hardy Heron. I'm lovin my Compiz Fusion as well. I've been using Ubuntu since Dapper Drake (6.06). @ scootingranny: Heh, not Brookshires -- the original Brookshire Brothers out of Lufkin - the one started by Oscar Brookshire in 1921. History here : www.brookshirebrothers.com/company/index.aspx?page=aboutus

Lufkin. My uncle was Pete Runnels - Boston Red Socks hall of fame - born in Lufkin. I think you still have a baseball tournament named after him.
