Finally got to spend a little quality time with the ride last night. Pulled all the tupperware off and gave everything a look over including the spark plug. It was in ok shape but I would like to get an iridium plug. I can't find a cross reference for a Champion PRZ9HC anywhere and when I call autostores or online parts retailers they don't even have that part number in their computers. The guy from scootertronics said a cr7hix will fit all chinese 4 strokes after I told him the part number and that it was for a kymco agility 125. Anyone else have any experience with this.

The NGK - CR7HIX is a great plug. It will fix your machine and is a definite improvement over your champion plug.

Each manufacturer has a plug code.
Ur chmpion prz9hc plug is a 12mm resistor plug. The cr7hix plug is a 10mm iridum resistor plug from NGK. The two plugs are different thread sizes. In NGK, you are going to want D which means 12mm, R is resistor, Heat range probably a 7, next thread reach the length of the threaded part of the plug probably an H means 12.7mm reach, I is irridum, and last is X means booster gap.
Hope this helps.

This is a good resource for anyone looking to sort out spark plugs: www.stonebridgebearing.com/MAIN/Automotive/spark%20plug.htmIt's a chart which lists the part numbers for any given china plug alongside it's equivalent NGK, Champion and BOSCH part numbers (depending on which brand you prefer). A word about Iridium: This chart does not list iridium plugs. What you would need to do is go to a parts store and bring the chart. Tell them which spark plug on the chart will fit your bike, but tell them you want the iridium upgraded version of the same plug size, heat rating, etc... I'm running the CR7HIX iridium plug from NGK (which won't fit your scoot from the sounds of it) and I noticed a MARKED difference as soon as I installed it. My scoot turns over on the first crank of the electric start every time and runs like a champ. They are about 3x the price of normal plugs but worth the investment in my opinion.

Just take the plug to an autoparts store and ask for iridium equivalent. It should save you all this trouble.
Oh, kink your link is not working.
