Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth. I received my Bali-13 250 2 weeks ago. When it arrived the crate had some damage, but when I checked I could not see any damage to the bike. However, when I went to take the bike out of the metal shipping, there was a 3" "vertical groove" in the right side panel. The delivery guy had already left... but no problem.. I was going to put some decals on anyway, problem solved.
Next... my bike is very unstable on the single stand. As a matter of fact it fell over, breaking a brake lever, mirror and the windshield..!! Holy crap..!! Everything was a "clean" break except the windshield, which was in about 10 pieces... I solved these problems by drilling holes in each piece of the mirror and brake lever.. put a piece of metal in each end... filled both sides with quick hard setting epoxy (5min)... and they set really well.
The acrylic windshield that came with the bike is very brittle, so I bought a piece of luxan (polycarbonate) which is a lot tougher.. used what was left of my windshield, made a templet.. and presto...a new and better windshield!!
Have changed all fluids and some of the lines... runs great... and no overheating, which I have read so much about.
Be careful..!! they WILL turn over when using the kickstand... !!
