My scootie went to the shop today. I am so bummed. It has been stalling when I come to a stop or slow down. I have checked gas lines the best I can. I have checked and adjust the throttle a bit. I could not find the spark plug because I did not have manual and I do not know that much about scooters yet to be taking all sorts of things apart. My dear sweet husband suggested that I do not mess with it to much and end up voiding the warranty. I do not know when it is gonna come home. The lady said it may be a while but gave no definate time frame. So I am still in limbo as to if I can go or not. I will let you know. Tootie

Sure glad you guys are still interested in this Rally. Been driving over there on the weekends to servey the area so we have a great time.
I also have a specific route planned (hope its ok) that allows us to drive thru the trendy part of HB which is main st., then out on PCH then back to our starting point of Central Park. Total route I think is about 15 miles or less. I will make copies to hand out at the meeting point so no one will get lost.
Meeting point is....type in google maps.....edwards st. and varsity Dr, ca. These are the cross streets....drive toward talbert....plenty of parking here, you cant miss it. I guess show up time is 2pm with us leaving about 30-45 minutes later. Lunch can be had after the rally with plenty of places along the beach or PCH. Any questions please let us know. ;D hope to see everyone there!!!

So do we have a confirmed list of attendees? I am going but I might be in a cage. After all the probs I have had with bike, took it back to the dealership in orange, all electric parts where changed again and a new wiring harness was installed. They had my bike for a week! Guess what? They delivered it back to me and now I can drive it for a whopping 16 miles. Back to the Dealership it goes. GRRRRRRR!

We need to exchange some cell phone numbers here in case of anyone getting lost. Also are we set on time and Local. We have to represent folks! ;D Remember your safety gear and camera's. I'll put out my cell here but some may want to PM if afraid to put it out but, it is VERY important we all know where our riders are, especially if they break down or get lost. Paul 949-291-7502

Even if your scoot is down......take the cage...we still want to meet you!! I would say bring your helmet and maybe a few tools just in case. We could ride 2 up if necessary. If everyone can get to the meet point safely.. (edwards st & varsity dr, ca) I will take it from there. I already printed out about 12 maps of the area and the route we will be taking for our 'cruise'. I notice Rob suggested we start around 3 or so which is fine. But we need to set a deadline also. I will be there around 2:30 since I only live about 10 miles away. ;D. Don't forget your camera....and or video helmet cams... here's my cell just in case. cliff- 562-607-7687 vvvvvv my Phoenix is white

I am trying to work out going. Scoot still down. It is not at Burbank Kawasaki but will need to go to Bert's Mega Mall tomorrow. Now it will not start at all. It is only 2 month old. I will look at it tonight to see if I can figure it out the cause. I will adjust the idle screw and change the oil. I will check the air filter too and see if that helps. But I will not be able to go down in my cage either. The steering sounds like a popcorn popper when I turn the wheel. With both modes of transportation down I don't know what I am gonna do.

Sorry dawgs!!! I will not be able to make it today. I hit someone yesterday in my cage and will not be able to drive down. My car is driveable but I am concerned that I punctured the radiator and I am not sure what else might be damaged. Scootie went to the shop yesterday because she will not even start.

Well guys (and gals)... looks like Im not going to be able to make it out. I originally thought I just needed to replace the swingarm bolt (which arrived in the mail yesterday... thanks Lance!), but after getting into it I realized the bolt actually snapped off down inside. Soooooo.... Ill be working on my scoot all day today (drilling out the snapped bolt all the way through) I have to see if I can use a bigger bolt and nut it down on the outside. Ive gotta full on macgyver something. I go back to school tomorrow and need my scoot. IM SO BUMMED. I apologize to everyone who's making the trip. I feel like a big a dork for trying to organize a rally and then not be able to go! Please take pics of everything! Maybe we can use this as a group scooting ride for a rally sometime soon? Ride safe.

I'll take a mulligan on that rally. The turnout: 2 scooters, 1 dis-scootered scooterist in a cage. We definitely had a great time (heck, we had a good excuse to ride a LONG way), but I think it wouldn't be classified as a rally with only 2 scooters. So, with this in mind, I'm going to post a new thread with the upcoming scooter rally. So, here's the link. scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=rally&thread=15090&page=1PS - pictures will be posted tomorrow probably. Need time for my butt to stop hurting and my hands to stop tingling. 8 total hours of riding does that to a body. ;D

look forward to hearing how the rally went. I was doing an install the other day and saw someone in a black NST scooter in riverside in the house next to where I was working and sooooo wanted to ask him if he was a member of the pound. Hope the Rally was a success and yeah look forward to the pics!

Yeah...I couldn't make it. I would have liked to, but it just wasn't going to work out.
Dude Stewy!!! Me and you gotta hook up at poly and hang for a while! WE KEEP THINKING THE SAME THOUGHTS!!! I was just thinking about having a ride in about a month, but closer to me (so I can actually make it).
There is a semi-biker hangout in Moreno Valley that hosts a monthly bike night, so bikes and me on my scooter are familiar sights for them. I was thinking about meeting there for lunch (great burgers, oh, and they are MASSIVE!!!), and then a 30-40 min ride to the local lake (lake perris) for some chill time! I don't know how many people would show up in MoVal though.
Or maybe we could just raid bike-night! ;D (ssshhhhh... 1st Friday of every month, 'cept holidays... Sunnymead Burger on Sunnymead blvd. in Moreno Valley, CA, it starts at 6:00, anything on two wheels is welcome. COME!!! ;D)

It was nice to see you there Aero, oh wait, the only arrows we saw were directional on road signs. We had some fun and talked bad things about you Aero! You have know idea! LOL! Ok, This was just a ride and we'll see what Halo comes up with for Sept. Located more in your area. If you got ideas Aero bring them! Taking over bike night with only a few scoots might no be a good idea but, I'm down for it! ;D Paul

It was good times yesterday. I have the palm bruises to prove it.
Aero, there's a long (and ever growing) list of weird things we think exactly alike on. Identical scoot. Nearly identical jacket. Nearly identical helmet. Same school. Nearly same major. Same dawgctionary. And a bunch of other things. Dang engineering minds! Anyways, yes, we'll both be at school plenty in the fall. Lets grab lunch in the middle sometime.
Axe, don't throw us under the bus and tell Aero all the smack we talked ;D Just cause he had to wash his hair and mow the lawn, doesn't mean he doesn't like us ;D JK
See ya guys

Well, the bikers at this local place are friendly. If anyone would have gotten beat up or kicked out it was the two guys there last time with "custom" 2T, um, things I really have no clue what to call them. They were basically a motorcycle frame, lowered to the ground, with some random "custom" doodads out of angle iron, with an exhaust system made out of short pieces of iron, welded together at angles. Oh, and did I mention they liked to run them WOT with no muffler whatsoever (we were about 500ft away and couldn't even hear each other when yelling directly at each others faces ;D). Even they didn't get kicked out or anything. For a ride down in this area I was thinking of meeting at Sunnymead burger for lunch, and then riding about 30-45min out to lake perris and just chilln' there for a while. If this sounds good to anyone, speak up! Aero
