My name is John, am pushing 66 with over 50 years on 2 wheels. The first scooter I had was a scooter that Wards sold from japan. It had a cvt belt transmission. Imported by Rockford motors, and I believe was Made in 59 by Bridgestone. I am seriously considering a scooter to fetch groceries. I am riding a Suzuki 1200cc Bandit. I have had it for a little over 5 years and am not sure I will keep it. I am looking toward a 150cc and a 250 if I decide to sell the bandit. If I use the throttle easy I can coax 40 mpg out of it. I do need to slow down a bit as my reflexes are not as good as they should be for a bike like that.
