This is my scooter currently. (Roketa MC-04-150 a.k.a. fiji a.k.a aruba) This is my mini bike/scooter/project And this is me looking like a goof on my new scoot I'd like to paint my scooter a solid color. Haven't decided what color to go with. I kind of like black. Maybe I should go with red since my rims are that color... idk Right now I'm more interested in getting through all the first-time scooter issues. My Rupp mini bike on the other hand... It's kind of cool because I actually live in Mansfield Ohio where they were manufactured. Anyhow, I want to restore it (get it running anyways) I just know absolutely nothing about it. If any of you know what year and model it is, I would appreciate knowing

Hey, BLACK is GREAT! Red rims look great with an all-black bike too!
I see the headlight housing is already matte-black. The entire bike would look super in matte/satin black, ala the new breed of "rat-bike" choppers. Try doing the brake calipers and little air-vents behind the headlights in yellow to key in with the rear springs, and you'll have a showstopper!
Anything that gets HOT (like header and exhaust/muffler) you can do in black Gun-Kote.) It's available from Brownell's shooting supplies and is absolutely impervious to ANYTHING including heat! Years ago I did a Suzuki X-6 two stroke engine, trans and pipes with Gun-Kote and no amount of abuse or spilled gas or oil EVER left any damage! It is even impervious to all nitro fuel and all known solvents!
That's gonna be one SWELL bike! Please keep posting pix in progress...
Love it!
