I've heard mixed reviews. I'd found a site that gave customer reviews (forget what it was), but I also figure happy customers are too busy riding to post reviews. I've been thinking about heading down there maybe next week, just to kill a day in the city away from the burbs and check them out
Where are you located?

i live in west philly now. but likely will be moving out of the city in about 1 or 2 years. either way i'd like to have a scoot for bumpin around the city. i'm heading into the shop on saturday. ive talked via email with Larry from the shop and he has been really nice and helpful in answering questions. i wanted to go in and ask some questions.
ive also heard of some people being able to barter in helmets, covers, locks with purchases so i'd like to see how things go there.
you have any idea if there is bargaining room on actual scooter prices? i'm not sure if this is like shopping for a car or if they have set prices.
where are you located?

Bristol, about 45 minutes north of CC (depending on traffic on 95).
About the haggle room, I guess there probably used to be some space, but I'm not so sure these days. They're pretty much guaranteed to get what they're asking with gas the way it is. But it wouldn't hurt to try, just to feel them out. Even if you only get them to throw in a lock and cover, it'd be something (and something's better than nothing, right?)
Let me know how it works out for you. This is the last week for the summer program I teach, that's why I'm thinking of heading down later next week.
EDIT: Oh yeah, who did you piss off?? -9??!!?? Have a bone on me.

a few months ago i got involved in a conversation with most of the board when everyone was talking about how scooters are 'green' but i started questioning if anyone had actually looked into the manner in which the chinese scooter production facilities operate and how much pollution they expel. I instantly become highly unfavored on the board and got alot of negative feedback.
i wear it as a badge of pride.
