I just modified the muffler off of my JMstar 150 and did a photoblog about it. I turned it into a glass pack muffler just like most performance mufflers. I just couldn't see spending $250 for a muffler for a scooter that I only paid $200 for (it didn't run right when I bought it). I invested a whopping $7 into the mod, and I highly doubt that the sound/ performance of an aftermarket pipe is all that much better than my mod. You can read and see pictures here. www.xanga.com/jk651/665467837/gy6-muffler-mod.html

It looks completely stock on the bike because I didn't modify the outside at all. It just looks a little different if you look into the tailpipe from the rear. That's the only thing that would tell you the muffler isn't stock. If I can find my good aluminum polish and some free time I'm going to polish the muffler can to a nice mirror finish though.

Very good job, saved me quite a bit on muffler clamp replacement.
