Just started with a new Scooter, Xingyue Eagle (XY150T). Like it, it has idle problems, I am guessing still breaking in. First oil and transmission change at 200 miles. Checked spark plug brown in color at tip. Have gone up to 60 mph downhill. Throttle cable was very loose, tightened it up. Will I need to change the carb jets to get rid of the poor idle? (starts in choke mode 3,000 rpm then slows to 1,800) If I set any lower it will stall. Great pickup and handling. Front and rear disk brakes, should they be easily turning with a push? Seem a little tight. Love the bike overall.

Ah seattle, I have been there manny times. Lots of ups and downs on thoese streets!
Change out all the fluids and make sure you are running top quality gas (no hole in the wall gas stations) since 1 cy engines are very sensitive to bad fule. You may also try a tank of premium gas and see if that helps. My scoot was having idle problems at startup till I switched and now it runs flawlessly since i switched to premium gas. Give it some time to get broken in and if it still runs poorly then take a look at your carb. Good luck!

I have been using premium fuel (Chevron) each fill. I think the carb fuel mixture needs to be adjusted as mileage is poor as well. I just cannot find this mixture screw on this carb. I have taken off panels, hoses, to get a better look. It might be on the bottom of the carb, if so I have no idea how to take the carb off and adjust it. I think I only got 70 miles on last 1 1/2 gallons. Spark plug is brown in color at tip, studders when throttle first applied, sometimes dies, but restarts fine. Have re-gapped the plug. Bike is Xingyue Eagle model XY150T.
