Just contacted my dealer, and confirmed that Lance is no longer drop shipping, we ordered on June 13th, so if you placed an order after (or possibly before) then and your dealer doesn't have it in stock, you should give them a call and discuss refund options.

Yup. I orderd June 12th, and had to cancel my order last Thursday with ScootersAreCool.com, who only sold lance - because they wouldn't send him anymore. Gio, at ScootersAreCool.com said he had 7 outstanding orders he was unable to fill. So if you see a site selling Lance, don't buy, you probably wont receive unless they are a B&M Dealer selling online.

The dealer I purchased from is attempting to locate a freight company to ship CA to NH without it costing basically the cost of the scooter itself. Any ideas?

Shouldn't cost more than $400-500 you to have it shipped, a dealer might be able to get it cheaper.

should be business as usual.....the dealers can have Lance ship the scoots to their shop...uncrate it...perform a thorough pdi...re-crate ...ship it back out to to the consumer......simple....

Just confirmed with AB Powersports in Tucson (awesomebuggy.com) that Lance is shipping to dealers who in turn will ship to their customers. I personally am looking forward to picking my GS-R us at the dealer in the next couple of weeks...

Right, the dealers can still get the Lance's in and then ship them out from there, Lance is no longer shipping direct from them though. My dealer is looking into the best way to get me my scooter.

Yes Refuse the charges on your card and order from a free shipping site. It'll be another month but that crook won't get the satisfaction. Sorry but you wanted ideas!

They are doing their best to get the scooter shipped to me, if it doesn't work out I'll get a refund and move on. SF has been incredibly helpful and has been giving me daily updates via phone call. I'd hardly call them crooks, they have done everything I can expect of them considering this just shook up their entire business structure.

We are having the bikes sent in bulk from LANCE to us and we are doing the PDI'S and shipping them right back out.......that is dropshipping from the consumer stand point.....in my humble opinion......these are not bikes that I am purchasing for our store. They are bikes for online customers. Call it what you will........it is a slice of the SAME pie.
