Im new to this very useful forum and after reading many posts, there seems to be much confusion about what to do if your scooter arrives by freight carrier damaged or if the carton has holes in it and damage is suspected. I have been told different stories by different on line dealers. My scooter arrived three weeks ago in a carton beat up with 2 large holes in it and damage to the scooter. I have called the carrier, Old Dominion and the dealer with no resolution so far. If given the chance to do this purchase over, I would refuse the shipment. Both the carrier and the dealer Right Way ATV have unclearly suggested the shipment probably should have been refused. Im sorry that I have no clear answer. Perhaps someone else does. I hope so.

did you note the damage on the bill of lading with the truck driver? If not you are most likely SOL. If you did you should be able to start a claim to get reimbursed for the parts you need.
